Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Monday, dropping 45 points (-0.4%) to close at 11,184. The index opened slightly above its previous close, then sharply fell into negative territory and remained under pressure through the end of the session. Overall, 15 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 191 shares fell and 69 rose. Energy (-0.7%), Banks (-0.3%), and Materials (-0.5%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Aramco (-0.7%), Saudi National Bank (-1.3%), and Maaden (-0.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increased in volume and value of 9% and 36%, respectively, to reach 235mn shares and SAR4bn in value traded.
