Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Monday, dropping 97 points (-0.9%) to close at the 10,497 level. TASI started the session unchanged from the previous close, then declined until it broke the 10,500 level. Overall, 21 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 198 shares fell and 55 rose. Banks (-0.8%), Energy (-0.9%), and Materials (-1.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Aramco (-0.9%), Al Rajhi Bank (-0.9%), and ACWA Power (-2.3%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 106% and 86%, respectively, to reach 261mn shares and SAR4.1bn in value traded.
