Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Tuesday, gaining 27 points (+0.2%) to close at 11,270. The index opened slightly above its previous close, then fluctuated throughout the session and closed at its highest point. Overall, 9 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 94 shares rose while 158 fell. Banks (+0.7%), Telecommunications (+1.1%), and Capital goods (+0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (+1.1%), Saudi Telecom (+1.3%), and Saudi National Bank (+0.7%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -5% and -2%, respectively, to reach 188mn shares and SAR4.2bn in value traded.
