TASI started the session positively, opening with a gain of +40 points and continued to rise, reaching its intraday high within the first trading hour before paring back some of its gains. In general, 13 of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 150 shares rose while 65 fell. Energy (+1.4%), Real Estate (+2.7%), and Materials (+0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Aramco (+1.4%), Jabal Omar (+4.1%), and Saudi Fransi (+1.9%) were the major contributors to the index’s rise. The trading activity witnessed a decline in volume and value of -29% and -22%, respectively, to reach 312mn shares and SAR7.6bn in value traded.
