Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Sunday, gaining 71 points (+0.6%) to close at the 11,316 level. TASI opened 5 points lower than the previous close, then gradually increased throughout the session until the close. In general, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 169 shares rose while 76 fell. Utilities (+5.8%), Materials (+0.7%), and Banks (+0.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, ACWA Power (+8.0%), Maaden (+2.4%), and Aramco (+0.4%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -31% and -23%, respectively, to reach 215mn shares and SAR4.3bn in value traded.
