Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 21 points (+0.19%) to close at 11,032.91. The index opened 7 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 8 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 141 shares rose while 111 fell. Banks (+0.5%), Materials (+0.6%), and Insurance (+1.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Maaden (+1.7%), Alrajhi (+0.2%), and RIBL (+1.1%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -0% and -8%, respectively, to reach 204mn shares and SAR 3.9bn in value traded.
