Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Tuesday, up by +56 points (+0.5%) to close at 11,797 levels. TASI began the session positively, opening with a 12-point rise. It declined during the first hour of the session, then gradually rose until the end. Overall, 17 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 163 shares rose while 62 fell. Energy (+0.9%), Telecommunications (+1.3%), and Health care equipment and services (+1.8%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Aramco (+0.9%), Bank AlBilad (+3.5%), and ACWA Power (+0.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -17% and -9%, respectively, to reach 210mn shares and SAR5.5bn in value traded.
