Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Wednesday, up by +53 points (+0.4%) to close at 11,850 levels. TASI began the session positively, opening with a 13-point rise, and continued to rise gradually until the end of the session. Overall, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 186 shares rose while 39 fell. Insurance (+2.8%), Health care equipment and services (+2.5%), and Media (+4.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Sulaiman Al Hbib (+2.5%), Saudi Research (+5.7%), and Elm Co. (+3.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 24% and 25%, respectively, to reach 260mn shares and SAR6.9bn in value traded.
