Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Wednesday, gaining 128 points (+1.2%) to close at 11,053. The trading session began positively, with an 18-point increase compared to the previous close, and continued to rise until the session ended. In general, 20 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 202 shares rose while 44 fell. Banks (+1.3%), Materials (+1.1%), and Energy (+1.6%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (+2.4%), Aramco (+1.6%), and Maaden (+1.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value by -17% and -11%, respectively, to reach 174mn shares and SAR4.5bn in value traded.

European stocks dipped slightly as investors turned cautious ahead of key U.S. economic data and Nvidia’s earnings report. Asia-Pacific stock markets ended on a negative note, as investors weighed the positive sentiment from President Trump’s decision to delay the 50% tariffs on EU imports against domestic economic data and company-specific developments. The Hang Seng declined by -0.5%, and the SHCOMP dropped by -0.02%, while the KOSPI gained by 1.2%.
