The trading session began on a positive note, with a 13-point increase in the opening, After that, it began to decrease gradually until the last hour, after which it began to increase until the end of the session. In general, 13 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 139 shares rose while 87 fell. Media (+7.7%), Utilities (+1.1%), and Banks (+0.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, ACWA Power (+1.4%), Saudi Research (+9.9%), and Saudi National Bank (+0.9%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume by 5% to reach 195mn while the value decrease by -20% to reach SAR3.9bn value traded.
