Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Wednesday, dropping 89 points (-0.80%) to close at 11,012.18. The index opened 10 points below its previous close, but it recovered some losses before the close; however, it still ended in the red zone. Overall, 19 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 63 shares rose while 197 fell. Banks (-0.9%), Energy (0.6%), and Materials (-0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Alrajhi (-1.2%), SNB (-1.6%), and Saudi Aramco (-0.6%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -17% and -18%, respectively, to reach 205mn shares and SAR 4.2bn in value traded.
