Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Wednesday, dropping 59 points (-0.50%) to close at 10,847.93. The index dropped to the lowest closing level since Jan. 15. The index opened below its previous close and remained under pressure through the session while trimming some losses before the close. Overall, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 74 shares rose while 184 fell. Banks (-0.6%), Energy (-0.4%), and Health care equipment and services (-1.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-0.7%), Aramco (-0.4%), and Saudi National Bank (-0.8%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -12% and -5%, respectively, to reach 167mn shares and SAR 3.8bn in value traded.
