Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday, gaining 96 points (+0.8%) to close at 12,194. The session opened on a positive note with an 11-point increase and continued to rise until the end of the day. In general, 14 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 110 shares rose while 118 fell. Banks (+0.8%), Materials (+0.8%), and Energy (+1.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Aramco (+1.2%), Al Rajhi Bank (+0.4%), and Maaden (+2.1%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume by -2% to reach 573mn shares, while the value increased by 2% to reach SAR6.9bn in value traded.
