Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday, declining by -164 points (+1.49%) to close at 10,841. The trading session began on a negative note over the previous close. The index continued to gradually decrease until the end of the session. Overall, 20 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 238 shares fell and 14 rose. Banks (-0.9%), Materials (-2%), and Real Estate (-3.5%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-1.27%), Maaden (-3.3%), and Sulaiman Al Habib (-2.7%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and decrease in value of +4.3% and -5%, respectively, to reach 256mn shares and SAR5.3bn in value traded.
