Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, dropping by -189 points (-1.7%) to close at 11,000. The index opened 13 points higher than its previous closing level but gradually declined throughout the session. Overall, all 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 203 shares fell and 41 rose. Banks (-2.1%), Utilities (-6.1%), and Materials (-1.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, ACWA Power (-7.8%), Al Rajhi Bank (-2.0%), and Saudi National Bank (-2.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -29% and -22%, respectively, to reach 144mn shares and SAR3.4bn in value traded.
